Charlotte, tell us what inspired this particular story? My new release deals with a topic that has been much in the news lately—sexual assault and harassment. You may wonder how one can write a romance with such a backdrop or premise. I hope I have done so. My heroine, Lacey starts off blaming herself for the decisions that led to the blackmail crisis she faces. But she finds herself and the man of her heart in the process of taking charge of her life. Something that people may not know about me very early in my legal career I worked undercover and wore a wire. I think it worked to have me do it because at five foot two I appeared younger than my age, so no one expected it.
