What inspired this particular story? That’s a good question because Winter’s Kiss obviously takes place in winter, and I am not a fan of this particular season. I don’t like cold or snow, so you’d think all of my stories would be based in a summery setting, lol. However, I do like the idea of sitting by a warm fire, a cup of hot apple cider, a horse sleigh ride…perfect inspiration for a story. What secret do you use to blast through writer’s block? I step away. It might just take a few hours, an evening, or perhaps a day, but stepping away from my story allows the inspiration and ideas to return instead of being forced.
