Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble…. But Cold Springs harbors a dark and murderous past of its own. Over two hundred years ago, as a circle of witches gathered on All Hallows Eve, an unspeakable crime of hatred shattered their peaceful worship. Now the descendants of those responsible for the horror of that black night are being forced to pay for the sins of the past.

The Purga Responded at once, and Ramius read the flashing signal unaided: “IF THE WHALES DON’T EAT YOU, GOOD LUCK TO RED OCTOBER.”
Hunt For Red October – Tom Clancy
I’d be remiss if I didn’t quote my favorite quotes from my awarding winning series and best-selling novel A Demon’s Witch. (I know cheating again.) LOL
Blatantly her gaze wandered over his well-muscled body, undressing him piece by piece, until he felt naked. He shook his head slightly and smoothed his shirt and slacks with his hand, just to make sure he was still wearing them.
A couple more come to mind:
“There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.”
A Christmas Carol So true. Kinda like my mother used to say, “Laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone.” Sad but true.
“Do your thing and don’t care if they like it.”
Bossypants – I’ve referenced Tina’s book twice in recent months and still haven’t read it. Gotta get that done! LOL

Covered Treasures Celebrates 26 Years!
Where were you last evening? Last night I spent an enjoyable evening browsing the shelves of independent bookstore Covered Treasures in historic downtown Monument, Colorado.
I love the feel, and sounds of a historic building. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if those walls could whisper what they’ve seen?
A book store is a wonderful place. The scent of ink and paper coupled with the sound of pages being flipped in books of all genres, voices quietly chatting about the recent book they read brings back happy childhood memories. The store also has greeting cards and a interesting items like book lights, maps and cake. That’s right a delicious cake to celebrate Covered Treasures twenty-six years in business! Brick and mortar bookstores are disappearing at a scary rate, so it warms the cockles of my heart to walk into this bookstore, pick up a book, leaf through the pages, and soak in the atmosphere.
Walking in the Covered Treasure, you’re immediately welcomed by the friendly, knowledgeable staff. On this evening not only the cake, veggie plates, and finger sandwiches brought me in, but one of my all-time favorite cozy mystery authors, NANCY ATHERTON, was signing her Aunt Dimity books and visiting with patrons. In a warm, cozy, and unhurried place, an enjoyable, fun experience was had by all.
Oh, one more thing, I am so excited! You can now find my print books residing on Covered Treasures book shelves. Want a signed copy? I’d be happy to make that happen. Stop by 105 Second Street, Monument, CO and pick up A DEMON’S WITCH, A WITCH’S JOURNEY or A MAGIC REDEMPTION to name few for summer reading around the campfire or at the beach. Leave your ordinary world behind and be swept into a magical, romantic fantasy adventure you’ll never want to leave. Remember the magic for happily ever after!

Fictional Worlds I’d Love to Visit – #L&SR #Wednesday Blog Challenge 7.17.19
Welcome to L&SR’s #Wednesday’s Blog Challenge 7-17-19. Fictional Worlds I’d Love to Visit!

I’d be amiss if I didn’t mention the World of Harry Potter. Though it is fraught with dangers and trials, what world isn’t? The magic, the games, the creativity, I want to see for myself! Join me won’t you?
A Demon’s Witch Series. I know It’s cheating because It’s My world. But who wouldn’t want to visit a multi-species (Magical) Salon where the owner has movie star good looks and body builder physique keeping his dance card full and the rumor mills running? A Demon’s Witch. Or spend time in a beach cottage in Hawaii ? A Warlock’s Secrets. Create a Wildlife rescue on an enchanted land? A Witch’s Journey? Many more adventures await you in A Demon’s Witch Series.
Now the world where Cassy Nightingale lives in Middleton, USA. You all know the Hallmark TV Series The Good Witch. I’d love to stroll the town streets, stay at Grey House, and experience all the shops, restaurants and quirky characters.
Finally, a medieval book series with HOT Scottish highlanders, their ladies, castles, and adventures with a touch of magic would be another fictional world I’d love to visit. The first example of these that comes to mind would be Mary Morgan‘s Dragon Knights Series and Fae Warriors.
Oh, oh, oh, I was just reminded of another, that would be Anne McCaffrey’s Dragonriders of Pern world. Loved those books and the world she created!!!
Well there you have it. Fictional Worlds I’d Love to Visit. There are a few of the fictional places I’d love to visit. Do you have any? List them in the comments. I could go on and on, I am a fiction writer after all but, I need to get back to my WIP, so let’s see what the other authors in this blog challenge claim as their Fictional Worlds They’d Love to Visit: L&SR
