The holidays will be different this year. So I am looking forward to curling up with a good book in front of a roaring fire and a big bowl of freshly popped corn. Wrapped Up With You was that book this week. A great heartwarming holiday tale with sizzle. Best of all I get to revisit my favorite characters from Pacific Vista Ranch Series. This time around Jake’s brother Rafael meets his match in a fiery, opinionated co-worker Phoebe. Forced to work a holiday party together in order to reel in a couple of high profile clients, the night leads to the unexpected. No going back Phoebe and Rafael forge ahead with holiday plans that include a family gathering with all my favorite characters from the series and a few new ones. Ms. Marti’s characters are well rounded and her descriptions make you feel like you are right there with the characters experiencing their highs, lows, and embarrassing moments.
I highly recommend Wrapped Up With You for your holiday reading or may be enjoyed any time of year.
